Collegiate Quidditch (also referred to as ground Quidditch, muggle ground Quidditch, or muggle Quidditch) is a sport adapted from the Harry Potter novels by J. K. Rowling.[1]

The first people (muggles) to play a real-life version of adapted Quidditch were a group of students, including Alex Benepe, from Middlebury College.[1]

Magical QuidditchEdit

Originally, Quidditch was simply a make-believe sport played on flying broomsticks by young wizards that existed only in the pages of J. K. Rowling's New York Time's Bestselling Series, Harry Potter.[2]

World CupEdit

Main article: Quidditch World Cup

Because of how popular and organized Quidditch is, mostly because of the IQA's efforts, a Quidditch World Cup has been held annually since 2007.[3]
